Name
These two classic grape varieties of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot have combined to rise above their individualism and create a new artistic form. Although a thoroughly modern wine style you will discover after short term cellaring a classic revival ‘Renaissance’.
Vineyard
Still considered McLaren Vale the fruit from this vineyard is from the sub region McLaren Flat and demonstrates our region’s ability to produce a variation of varieties very well. The soils here are very much sandy profile which means faster draining soils and less vigorous vines.
Winery
All variety components are fermented separately and transferred to barrel. After 14 months in barrel the blend was assembled prior to bottling.
